Acceptance
These Terms of Use and End User License Agreement (the "Terms") govern your download, installation, and use of Violin Intonation. By downloading, installing, or using the app, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
License
Violin Intonation is licensed, not sold. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use the app on devices you own or are authorized to use, for personal, non-commercial violin learning and practice, subject to these Terms and the applicable rules of the platform where you downloaded the app.
Use by Children
If you are a child or are below the age of full legal consent in your region, use Violin Intonation with consent and supervision from a parent or guardian. Parents and guardians are responsible for supervising child use of the app, managing device permissions, and handling purchases.
Service Description
Violin Intonation is a practice app for violin learners. It uses microphone-based pitch detection to provide intonation and practice feedback.
Learning Feedback
Pitch, intonation, and practice feedback provided by the app is for learning and practice reference only. Feedback may be affected by your device microphone, background noise, instrument tuning, playing technique, and calibration settings, and does not replace a teacher or professional musical judgment.
Local Data and Backups
Practice history, learner progress, and settings are primarily stored locally on your device. You are responsible for device security, system backups, and backing up important practice data.
Privacy
How we handle data is described in the Violin Intonation Privacy Policy.
Purchases
If you purchase Violin Intonation Pro, the transaction is processed by the platform where you download or make the purchase, such as the Apple App Store, Google Play, or another app store. We do not receive or store your payment card information.
Platform Terms
If you download Violin Intonation from the Apple App Store, Apple's applicable App Store terms and, where applicable, the Apple Standard EULA may also apply.
If you download Violin Intonation from Google Play, the Google Play Terms of Service may also apply to your download, purchases, updates, and use of Google Play.
Intellectual Property
Violin Intonation, the app design, name, marks, and related materials are owned by us or the applicable rights holders. These terms do not transfer any intellectual property rights to you.
Acceptable Use
You may not misuse the app, interfere with its operation, bypass limitations, reverse engineer it except where allowed by applicable law, or use it for unlawful, infringing, or harmful activity.
Disclaimer
Violin Intonation is provided "as is." We work to keep the app stable and reliable, but we do not guarantee that it will always be error-free, uninterrupted, fully accurate in detection, or suitable for every specific purpose.
Limitation of Liability
To the extent allowed by applicable law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential losses arising from use of or inability to use Violin Intonation. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded or limited by law.
Termination
If you violate these Terms, we may suspend or end your license and right to use Violin Intonation to the extent allowed by applicable law.
Changes
We may update these terms from time to time. Updates will be posted on this page with a revised effective date.
